n the age-old battle of David versus Goliath, I found myself, Jacob Maslow, in the underdog role, wielding not a slingshot but my unwavering love for my children. Life had dealt me the card of shared custody after a divorce from my narcissistic ex, Carol Grinberg, with our five beloved children caught in the crossfire. Like a desert storm, this parental alienation hit hard and fast, and I found myself navigating this tumultuous journey in a foreign land. Israel, our home, seemed indifferent, even hostile, to my struggle as an American expatriate father.

Every day felt like a losing battle. Carol, armed with the venom of alienation, played by her own rules, seemingly immune to court orders and deaf to agreements. Conversations about our children were as elusive as a desert mirage. The silence from her lawyer only amplified my feeling of isolation. Yet, in this desolate landscape of parental alienation, I stumbled upon an unexpected oasis – the vibrant world of social media.

Turning to the internet in my darkest hour was like plunging into a tumultuous sea, unsure of what I would find beneath the waves. Navigating the vast digital expanse, I found not sharks but fellow voyagers adrift on their own rafts of desperation. Fellow fathers, both in Israel and across the globe, wrestling with the same heartbreak and frustrations. We were many, all different, yet bonded by our shared struggle.

In this digital realm, I discovered the beauty of connection and empathy. We swapped tales of court orders ignored, agreements trampled, and children used as emotional chess pieces. I found solace in shared stories, comfort in collective sighs of despair, and hope in mutual encouragement. This was not the cold, uncaring courtroom but a nurturing, supportive community. A world where our battles mattered, our stories held weight, and our love for our children was never in question.

Twitter, once a platform for news and entertainment, became my town hall, my support group, and my soapbox. The hashtag, a simple symbol, evolved into a beacon of hope, leading me to others navigating the same tumultuous waters. #ParentalAlienation, #SharedCustody, #NarcissisticEx – each a lifeline, each a door to a community that understood, that cared.

I’ll never forget the day when a tweet from a fellow American ex-pat father in Tel Aviv caught my eye. His words mirrored my own experiences, his frustrations echoing mine. Our conversations evolved from brief interactions to long discussions, shared advice, to mutual support. Despite the miles between us, we stood shoulder to shoulder, united in our fight for our children.

Often criticized for its impersonal nature, social media became my most personal space. It was where I could voice my despair, share my victories, and vent my frustrations without fear of judgment. I felt heard, I felt understood, I felt supported.

So, to all fathers walking this rocky path of parental alienation, I say this: Reach out. Dive into the digital world. Use it not as a distraction tool but as a connection platform. Find your fellow travelers, share your journey, and seek and offer support. You’ll find you’re not alone. You’re part of a vast, resilient community.

My battle is ongoing, and the road ahead is still rocky, but now, I march on with the strength of a shared struggle, buoyed by the support of my digital comrades. Remember, if you’re out there wrestling with the Goliath of parental alienation, you’re not alone. In the vast digital desert, you will find your oasis, your tribe, and your hope. And maybe we can turn the tide of this silent epidemic together.

Social media isn’t just about hashtags and followers but about finding your voice, sharing your story, and discovering you’re not alone. Because in the end, we are many, we are resilient, and we are never alone.

Turning the Tides: Tips and Strategies for Overcoming Parental Alienation

Facing parental alienation can feel like an uphill battle. The system can seem daunting, and the pain overwhelming. But remember, you’re not alone, and there are concrete steps you can take to navigate this challenging situation. Here are some tips and strategies that I, Jacob Maslow, and many others have found helpful in our journeys.

1. Document Everything: Keep a detailed record of all interactions and incidents involving your ex-partner and your children. This could include texts, emails, phone calls, visitation schedules, and any instances of alienating behavior. These records can be invaluable if you need to provide evidence of the alienation in court.

2. Maintain Communication: As much as your ex-partner may try to disrupt communication, strive to maintain a direct line with your children. Regularly express your love, support, and interest in their lives. Use all available channels, such as letters, emails, calls, or texts, to remind them you’re there.

3. Don’t Retaliate: It’s easy to feel provoked or angered by the alienating parent’s actions. However, retaliating can escalate the situation and paint you in a negative light, especially in your children’s eyes. Stay calm, composed, and focused on your children’s welfare.

4. Seek Legal Advice: Engage a lawyer experienced in parental alienation cases. Understanding your legal rights and obligations can be critical in protecting your relationship with your children and navigating the court system.

5. Pursue Therapy and Counselling: Parental alienation can significantly affect emotions. Engaging a therapist or counselor can help you process your feelings, develop coping strategies, and stay strong for your children. If possible, consider seeking therapy for your children, too, as they are likely struggling to understand and cope with the situation.

6. Connect with Others: Seek out support groups, online communities, or other resources where you can connect with individuals experiencing similar struggles. These platforms can provide emotional support, practical advice, and a sense of community. They remind you that you’re not alone in this journey.

7. Advocate for Change: Raise awareness about parental alienation by sharing your experiences. This can increase understanding, policy changes, and improve resources for affected parents and children. It’s a long-term strategy, but every voice counts.

8. Self-Care: Amidst the struggle, don’t forget to care for yourself. Eat well, exercise, get enough sleep, and engage in activities you enjoy. A healthier you means a stronger advocate for your children.

Remember, this journey may be tough, but it’s not insurmountable. You are not alone. Reach out, stay strong, and keep fighting for your children and your rights as a parent. Every step you take is a step towards turning the tide.

Getting the attention of an influencer can be very difficult. When they have hundreds of thousands, or even millions of followers, finding a way to stand out and be noticed is not easy.

Having said that it is easier than you thought.

Though their following size may be large, there are still ways to connect with influencers and cut through the noise in order to get them to help you.

In this article, we outline four strategies you can use to get noticed by influencers and get them to help you.

Promote Them Without Asking

One of the best things you can do for influencers is to promote them without any expectation of anything in return. Influencers are typically inundated with constant requests, and people always ask for things and try to ride their coattails, and get favors from them.

So if you simply say something nice about them or share them with your audience and friends, or even go to a specific effort to increase others’ awareness of them, they will see that and they will appreciate that you’ve done it without asking for something.

Doing this consistently over a long period of time could create enough trust with them that you can then ask them to help you.

Send Them A Gift

Gift-giving has been a popular strategy for developing rapport and relationships for as long as humans have been around. Giving a gift to an influencer can be a great way to stand out because they’re so used to people asking them for things, that it will come as a genuine surprise that you’ve offered them a gift with no expectation of anything in return.

You should see the gift as the start of the process of working towards the ability to ask them for help. If you simply give them a gift and then ask them for help straight away you are just being like everyone else and are not likely to get a good result.

Engage With Their Content

Many influencers use content as one of their key mechanisms for growing their audience. This could be written content, visual content, or social media content. If you engage with that content by either liking it, forwarding it to your friends or just adding a comment under the content saying how much you like it, this can be seen in a positive light and start to build goodwill towards you with them.

When you engage with their content the first challenge is to get their attention in some way before actually asking for help. You will know that you have got their attention if they respond positively to your engagement. This could be in the form of a like on your social media comment or an actual comment replying to your interaction with them.

You are likely to get the best results if you take a long-term approach and do not try and rush this process. If you make one comment and see that they have acknowledged it, and then ask for help straightaway – that is far too quick.

But if you make a comment one week, and then make another comment a week later, they will see that you are a genuine fan who has interacted with them on an ongoing basis and they will develop a positive impression of you and you will be much more likely to get some help from them.

Buy Their Course/Product

Lots of influencers are making money by promoting products and brands, but many other influencers are making money by selling information programs. These might be online courses, E-books, or webinars.

By buying their product you become a customer of theirs and not just someone in their audience. If you buy the product you have then got a natural conversation starting point to reach out to them.

If you are a total stranger who has never given them any money or done anything for them and then you reach out to them for help, you can be almost guaranteed the answer will be no. But if you are one of their customers, they will be more inclined to be helpful because you have given them some money, and they would want to protect their reputation as an influencer and experts in their field.

Sometimes coaching and consultation are built into these products you can buy. So by purchasing one of the packages you are guaranteeing yourself access to them and the permission to ask them questions and have them give you feedback.

Final Thoughts

Regardless of which tactic you try, the main thing to keep in mind is that asking influencers for help is not likely to be successful if you rush the process. If you want someone to help you need to first establish familiarity with them and then get them to like you, before asking for help at a later stage in your relationship.

The Birth of Resilience

Most kids at 18 are considering where to go next in life. For some, it is education, and others begin to consider finding a partner to settle down with and build a family. For Rami Beracha, an international entrepreneur, it was the opportunity to join the IDF. There he was trained as a paratrooper during the Lebanon War and eventually received an officer’s commission. In 1983, Beracha was part of a rescue team to offer aid to wounded soldiers in an active landmine field. While on duty, he had the misfortune to step on a landmine, losing his right hand and left leg.

This critical moment in time sent Beracha into a deep depression during his stay at a military hospital. Rehabilitation became a challenge as his mind spiraled downward, trying to grasp a new identity. It was then that something triggered a response deep inside, and a new passion was suddenly born. Even in the face of losing a promising military career, Beracha decided he would not give up. He began to push harder to heal faster. When he did get out of the hospital, he joined sports, often enjoying cycling and snowboarding. He even had the opportunity to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.

Resilience Evolves into Motivating Drive

Beracha’s best advice has always been that people pursuing a dream should take the time to ensure it is correct for them before making drastic moves. There should be a unique balance of passion and personal self-belief that leads to success. Otherwise, you will never move forward in your ventures. The same is true for the ability to change. Even if you are afraid, change is easier early on than losing time and money on something you have no passion for or enjoyment.

That philosophy has proven to be true in Beracha’s life. After the military, he received a law degree and began work for a Wall Street legal firm. While the opportunities were plentiful, the lifestyle and outlook were not what Beracha wanted. He then decided to uproot from New York City and hop across the pond to France, where he completed an MBA.

That one decision led to a career at Pitango, Israel’s largest venture capital fund, and fertile ground for Beracha’s new education. It only took a few short years for Beracha to be named a managing partner, where he led the fund in investing with over 200 new high-tech startups. A significant number of these Israeli-based companies eventually made exits to international brands like Marvel, Microsoft, Broadcom, and Apple.

His career development never stopped Beracha’s love of outdoor sports. In 2008 he traveled to Panama to pursue his love of kite surfing. Eventually, he developed a method to use adapted prosthetics so he could surf the waves with the same ease as a professional.

“At first, I was very angry after getting injured,” admits Beracha. “But over time, my anger calmed down and was replaced with acceptance. What encouraged me was the knowledge that no matter what I choose to do in life, because of my disability, it will be harder for me than others, but it will also be more challenging and more interesting. For anyone learning to kitesurf, the moment you manage to stand on the surfboard for the first time is an exciting moment. And when you have no leg and no hand, it’s an even more special moment.”

Pretty soon, the itch to innovate hit again, and Beracha founded Sosa in 2014. This international firm is dedicated to connecting New York and Tel Aviv by supporting Israeli tech companies with American investors.

Connecting with Covid 19 and Constantly Looking for The Next Disruption

While this impressive background paints a beautiful picture, what does it have to do with Covid 19? Beracha has developed a unique skill that many in today’s world could use in response to the global pandemic. Although the previous years and months have been significantly hard on some industries, the opportunities for growth and development are practically endless.

This was evident to Beracha when he took his “never quit” spirit and created two new promising business ventures during one of the most challenging global economies the world had ever seen. This is a testament to the many life lessons Beracha was forced to face and a piece of advice many of us should follow. Every new crisis is a chance for a new beginning. Covid is just one more speed bump in a history of challenges that should inspire entrepreneurs to adapt.

That is why, after years of promoting the Israeli high-tech industry, Beracha, with two young partners, formed a new VC investment fund based in the West End of London called Eden Block. This fund and its partners will seek to back companies innovating in the Blockchain and cryptocurrency fields, pushing the world forward into the digital age.

“I see a great opportunity in the field of Web 3.0. The current young generation identified it before I did, so I decided to join forces with two experienced and seasoned representatives of this generation and formed Eden Block with them.”

The future does not have to look grim. Instead, we can choose to change and develop new solutions to problems that are only passing in the grand scheme of time. Beracha is evidence of this human capability and promises to continue his pursuits with many more endeavors still to come.

The post Top 6 Social Media Marketing Trends to Watch Out For in 2022 appeared first on Social Media Explorer.

]]>
Social media has evolved a lot in the last decade. From a platform for friends to collaborate and share their pictures, social media has now become a branding and marketing portal for big and small businesses.

Today, social media is one of the crucial digital marketing strategies for businesses to connect with their potential customers and build their brand authority. Therefore, many new trends have been seen on social media platforms every day.

If you are also involved in social media marketing somehow, you should definitely watch out for all the fantastic social media marketing trends to stay updated. Here are the top social media marketing trends that are redefining marketing strategies in 2022:

1. Impromptu Live Videos

Video marketing has already been a top marketing strategy for businesses lately. But, with the popularity of platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Tumblr, live streaming has become a real hit.

Many B2B and B2C brands are going live to interact with their customers and understand their problems. In fact, behind the scenes and live chit-chats are the most used live video methods.

Celebrities are also leveraging live videos to connect with their fans and answer their questions in real-time. Live videos were one of the most popular and trending social media marketing trends that you should give a shot in 2022.

2. Conversational AI Is In

Conversational AI is also part of social media marketing now. It is a dynamic strategy that combines natural language processing (NLP) with traditional software like voice assistants and chatbots to create a high-quality user experience.

Many brands integrate their social media pages with chatbots to provide real-time interaction facilities to their customers. This also helps companies reduce their customer support time and budget as they don’t need humans anymore to attend calls and solve customer queries. In addition, Chatbots can now efficiently resolve customer queries without disturbing you.

For example, Instagram allows users to create AR Reels using different cool filters. Many brands like Coca-Cola and McDonald’s use AR Reels on Instagram to establish their brand identity and create unique content.

Besides this, artificial intelligent social media monitoring tools are heavily used by marketers to monitor their progress. Conversational AI-based tools deliver insights from your brand’s social media profiles and audience. The insightful data will help you create personalized social media marketing strategies to engage your audience better and understand their pain points.

3. TikTok Keeps on Growing

Despite all the security threats and global ban, TikTok keeps on growing and growing. In 2021, there were around 1 billion active users on TikTok.

Not only are kids creating funny TikTok videos today, but big brands are also heavily investing in TikTok marketing. Therefore, if you are not on the TikTok in 2022, you might be missing out on many great business opportunities.

4. More Use of Ephemeral Content

What the heck is ephemeral content?

Ephemeral content is something that has a short duration, like Instagram and Facebook Stories. The Stories might disappear within 24 hours, but they allow brands to pop up on their customers’ profiles and engage with them.

Therefore, brands use innovative ideas to create Stories to promote their products and establish personal relationships with their customers.

5. Influencer Marketing Is at Rage

Influencer marketing is not a new social media marketing trend. But, in the coming years, this marketing trend will explode.

According to a report, influencer marketing will grow to 24.1 billion in 2025, which was merely 6 billion in 2022. Within a short span of five years, this industry will grow at a CAGR of 32%.

So, if you have not partnered with popular influencers in your industry yet, do it now before your competitors collaborate with them.

6. Twitter Is Trustworthy

While Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest are used for entertainment purposes and healthy banter, Twitter is used to share serious topics and discuss global issues.

Twitter is one of those platforms where the latest news stories are broken these days. From political leaders to celebrities, everyone uses Twitter to share their thoughts on current affairs. The best social media group that freelancers can join is in their industry. For example, suppose you are a freelance writer. In that case, you can enter some writing groups where you can interact with other writers.

Joining groups in your industry will help you connect with the right people. You can network with potential clients or people who might need your services at some point.

Being a freelancer, you have to manage clients, work, and personal life balance on your own, which is not at all easy. Therefore, you can join some groups where people share tips to simplify your freelance journey.

Suppose you want to retire from your freelance career in 10 years. In that case, you should join some financial and smart retirement planning groups that can help you easily plan your retirement. You can learn to save money, manage your freelance taxes, and other tips on social media groups.

Friend Groups

In addition, you can share your thoughts and opinions freely with your virtual friends as they won’t judge you based on your caste, creed, or other physical attributes. Also, if you are an introverted person, making friends on social media groups will be easier for you compared to making friends in person.

Parting Thoughts

Social media is all about socializing and connecting with like-minded people. However, nowadays, people might have forgotten the real motive behind social media platforms and started looking at them as marketing opportunities.

But, initially, social media is a place to socialize. Therefore, freelancers should use social media groups to fill the void in their lives. J Staffz is widely known as a classically trained pianist, beat producer, singer, DJ, engineer, and social media raconteur from Toronto, Canada. But what are the desires that drive him to be so successful in the recording industry? This article intends to provide you with a better understanding of J Staffz and why he is rapidly becoming a significant player in the music industry.

Early in life, J Staffz (his name, a combination of his first and middle initials and last name) was exposed to music by his family and discovered he had a natural musical talent. He took up piano lessons through the Royal Conservatory of Music at six and continued his studies when time permitted. J Staffz’s musical appetite expanded when his musical repertoire and he learned to play steel drums at St. Kitts and Nevis, his family’s native country, and took professional drum lessons as well.

His musical skills began to rise rapidly, and early in life, he started creating beats, then expanded into producing songs. His first regularly rotated song came when he was 19 in Toronto. With an insatiable musical mind and the desire to continue learning how to market himself and get his musical message out, he engaged early in social media to create a more extensive fan base.

Realizing he needed to expand his marketability and build his record-producing business, J Staffz embraced social media and especially Twitter as an early marketing platform. His tactical move to social media was a success. His brand quickly grew and began to attract well-known artists such as G-Unit, Wiz Khalifa, Belly, P Reign, Uncle Murda, French Montana, 40 Glocc, Yung Berg, Fat Joe, and many others.

J Staffz continually plumbed the depths of his musical curiosity and attended Metalworks Institute to learn Audio Engineering and Recording. However, he discovered that his genuine interest was more in making music than the engineering side of the business, so he leveraged his newfound knowledge to increase the depth of his recording productions.

He had the burning desire and boundless energy to continually strengthen his brand, as he recognized the recording industry would always be in continual musical flux. So, with foresight, he began to explore the possibilities of growing his brand by venturing into creating beat beds and composing music for the entertainment industry.

Expanding his work resume, J Staffz became an in-house producer for Silverbridge Media. This arrangement allowed him to strengthen his brand by composing music and beat beds for Viacom. The Viacom clients included MTV, VH1, VH2, HBO, and other networks under the Viacom umbrella.

J Staffz recognized and understood the power of advertising and exposure to online media. So he partnered with Google to form a Google Adwords investment firm, JSB Solutions. The mission of JSB Solutions is to fund and provide campaign management for clients in exchange for equity in the projects.

From beginnings in Toronto, Canada, J Stafzz has grown his brand to encompass advertising, music production, singing, entertainment industry musical productions, recording engineering, and musical beats. His vision is to start his new record label, and with his history of success, it would be a good bet the label will succeed and survive.

J Staffz, at 25, is a musical renaissance man that knows what he wants and the clarity of vision necessary to achieve his dreams.

It suggests some key changes required to the content and layout of the website, which further pushes the ranking in search engines. More visibility of websites leads to more traffic and sales.

Search Engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo scan your website elements and content to match the requirement of the topics searched. And, then they push the relevant, genuine content towards the audience, which is commonly known as Crawling.

Search Engine optimization can derive organic traffic to the website. These are not any high technical functions, just small effective remarkable changes which can derive massive traffic to the website. Further, the enormous growth of digital marketing and the development of handy tools has made SEO easy to access.

This guide on SEO will today introduce you to some basics of SEO that can help you better grow online.

Different Types of SEO

 1. On-page SEO –

This generally deals with the elements of the website, which are visible at the front end like body, images, description, keywords, headers, footers, meta descriptions, and meta titles, UI (user interface), and UX (User experience).

There are many other elements that you should consider in on-site SEO:

 • Researching keywords can help website in ranking
 • Insert links that redirect to other pages of your website
 • Meta title and Meta description can provide details to the search engine about the content.

2. Off-page SEO –

Guest blogging can also help here, which means writing content for another website. This will allow you to generate high-quality backlinks from high domain authority websites.

Attempting to print attention to your product in a digital market can be challenging, especially when the traditional demand for some products has been hands-on for many years. With shopping moving to a digital platform, advertising and marketing your products over the competitor is more keyword and audience targeting strategy. Below are four important ways that you can improve your overall marketing online and generate your desired audience.

Focus on Social Media

It is free to make an account, and you can advertise on multiple platforms. No matter what kind of product you have, there is an audience to reach on one or more of the numerous platforms available. Whether it is Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or Tiktok, you can create content, statuses and make posts that show up in your audience’s news feed so that they interact. Staying updated with these posts and generating content regularly lets your audience know that you are active. A quiet social media page does not get a lot of interaction. It is suggested that you seek help from a social media agency in Manchester to provide you with your best needs.

Paid Advertising

You can move to a minimal amount of small advertising on these social media networks that generate your product ads. Based upon other relevant searches or similar product pages that viewers interact with, the algorithm will determine which of these customers fit your potential audience and generate an ad for your product to show up on their news feed. These ads are not free, but they come at different time offerings, so you can pay a minimal amount to interact with customers who may not otherwise have engaged in your post.

Keywords and SEO

It takes just a few seconds for customers to go to their web browser and search a few keywords when looking for a product. They will choose their location, the type of product, and maybe a few different characteristics regarding the product. For example, if someone were looking for a diamond gem alternative that still carried the quality of the diamond, they would be met with the Moissanite Co. about their gem options that replicate a diamond. They can get these gems cut in the most popular diamond cuts, have them repaired, and even be offered a warranty and insurance on the pieces.

Add A Blog

One of the most remarkable ways to grasp your customers and keep them is to offer an online conversational piece blog format. You can offer tips and advice regarding your product or even launch conversations regarding new products on the horizon. Many successful blogs use this as a way to reconnect their mission with their customers. You can get your customers passionate about your product and see you as one of the leading experts in your particular industry.

While these four tips are meant to assist with your online marketing, they all take time and effort to succeed. You will need to interact on your website and your social media platforms to maintain these strategies regularly to maintain your clientele and reach your maximum audience potential.

It’s no secret that in this past year, more of us have been working from home than ever. Though our at-home setups may be good enough at the moment, the longer we spend working at home, the more we want our workspace to be as good as it can be.

If you want to elevate your at-home office to make it the best it can be, Everlasting Comfort has you covered with these comfort-boosting hacks that you can use to elevate your home office space.

With the Past Year, Many Things Have Moved Online

Last year, the pandemic caused many complications in everyone’s life. Everything seemingly came to a screeching halt, and everyone found themselves needing to stay inside the home for more time than ever before.

This quarantine, combined with our advances in technology, led to more things being moved online than ever. Among those was moving every job possible to a remote position.

We Spend More Time At Home Than Ever Before

For all of us, whether we work entirely online or part-time from home, we have been spending more time at home than ever before. That’s why it matters now more than ever that our home office setup is luxurious.

How You Can Make Your Home Office More Comfortable with Everlasting Comfort Products

So how do you elevate your at-home workspace with products from Everlasting Comfort?

Here are some fun tips and tricks to get your home office looking and feeling fantastic.

1. Make Your Seating Arrangement Perfect

Step one to maximizing your home office is to make the chair you sit in as comfortable as possible. Sitting all day can be uncomfortable enough, so why not make it a more pleasant place to spend your day by making your chair comfy and cozy.

Coccyx Cushion

If you get nothing else, get yourself a coccyx cushion.

These cushions are made from memory foam and sit in the bottom of your chair under your buttocks. They have a cutout in the back so that your tailbone doesn’t have to be pressed against a hard surface.

Lumbar Cushion<

A lumbar cushion, when placed correctly, fits the curve of your lower spine.

It also reminds you to sit forward in your seat, improving your posture and engaging those core muscles.

2. Add Some Moisture to the Air

Having dry air circulating through the room where you’re working could make it harder for you. This dry air can cause your sinuses to dry out and lead to dehydrated, cracked skin.

Adding a cool-mist humidifier to your home office can soothe dry skin and improve your cough or sniffles that keep you from being able to focus at work. It also relieves that dry throat, making business calls easier to get through.

3. Increase Energy by Adding a Scent

If you’re finding yourself getting sleepy in the afternoons, fighting back falling asleep in your chair, get yourself an essential oil diffuser and use some energizing scents.

There are a few different essential oils that boost energy. You can experiment by adding a few drops of them to your essential oil diffuser or get more creative by mixing some scents.

Some of the best essential oils to boost energy at work are peppermint oil, sweet orange oil, lemon oil, and lavender. Add a few drops of these to your essential oil diffuser at home to liven up the space.

4. Prop Your Feet Up

There are many benefits to elevating your legs following an injury, but propping your feet up at your desk can also offer some benefits. It helps reduce swelling, relieve muscle tension, and create better blood flow.

Using one of Everlasting Comfort’s under-desk foam footrest can keep your feet at a healthy angle, relieving pressure and improving circulation. This makes all the difference when you work long days at a desk.

5. Give Your Arms a Rest

When you’re working at home, you’re probably spending a lot of your day typing away at your computer. All of that typing takes a toll on your arms and wrists.

Everlasting Comfort offers premium foam armrests that you can attach to the arms of your office chair. This allows you to stop putting so much strain on your shoulders and elbows.

Take Your Home Office to the Next Level with Everlasting Comfort

If you’re working from home, you deserve the most comfortable workspace that you can get. Head over to Everlasting Comfort to elevate your home office today.

The direct-to-consumer business model has gained some serious traction lately, especially in light of the events of 2020 that threw a wrench in the brick-and-mortar approach.

After some criticisms and speedbumps, D2C is finally emerging as a legitimate, sustainable model of business for the digital age. Brands save untold sums of money on overhead, have near-complete control over supply chains, and can innovate with compelling new products like never before.

But while D2C brands showed their strength in 2020, the challenge they face now is in the marketing department, especially with traditional retail channels coming back in a big way.

How are D2C brands navigating the complex and competitive marketing landscape in 2021 and beyond? Kevin Miller, Co-Founder and CEO of GR0, is leading the way with aggressive, innovating digital marketing for D2C brands right now – here’s how.

Quality Content – The D2C Marketing Key

There are a few distinct challenges facing D2C brands in the realm of marketing, starting with the fact that many of these companies are still relatively new and unknown.

While the D2C trend took root years ago, it did not catch a wave until a few years back. Newcomers to the space are just finding their footing, and have their work cut out.

According to Miller, generating a deep library of quality blog content is the first step towards building an online audience and getting the gears turning for search engine ascension.

“Our main focus is on excellent written content – that’s what D2C brands need to establish that trusted voice in competitive industries,” said Miller. “People want an authoritative voice and content that actually helps them out. Weak, generic articles won’t help brands make that mark.”

Miller and a staff of talented writers deliver original, highly researched content to GR0’s clients on a daily basis, giving D2C brands the reputation of authority and trust they need online.

Blog articles are just one piece of the puzzle for a well-rounded content strategy. Writers also create comprehensive how-to guides and encyclopedic breakdowns of key industry terms and concepts that help brands get a leg up over the competition.

“It’s a matter of pure value,” said Miller. “How much are you bringing to the table, aside from flashy images and videos? That stuff matters, but quality writing is a much more valuable asset in the long run.”

PR with an SEO Twist for D2C Brands

While great on-site writing can do a lot for an emerging D2C brand, these small companies need more leverage to expand their reach and grow their networks for increased awareness online.

A strong PR strategy is the next step that Miller and GR0 employ for their clients, using methods like reporter outreach and journalist connections to boost public image and carve out territory in the media madness of the internet.

Using platforms like HARO and a wide-ranging network of media connections, GR0 is able to position clients in the best possible light and put its products in the conversation among industry giants.

“Public relations is an overlooked driver of brand growth, and we’ve had a lot of success with reporter outreach and other techniques to generate good press,” Miller stated. “Brands that get a good writeup from a major outlet are going to get noticed no matter what.”

By partnering with Cision, the world’s largest PR company, GR0 has put clients in the spotlight in outlets like CNN, Forbes, The New York Times, and other industry giants.

This allows D2C brands to get their “big break” in the media and generate tons of organic traffic to their sites as a result. Additionally, clients earn “do-follow” backlinks to their pages, which helps increase SEO scores on Google and positions client sites higher in the search rankings.

“It’s a smart move from a PR standpoint, and for word-of-mouth buzz and excitement,” said Miller. “These are trusted sources and their opinions are taken seriously. We tap into a huge network of interested readers who want to know about the next best thing, and it works wonders for clients.”

Technical SEO Expertise – The Missing Link

Aside from blog content and strategic PR, Miller and GR0 are heavily invested in the technical side of SEO, optimizing client pages for performance and crawlability.

Google is constantly updating its algorithm to account for new tech trends and design features, all of which have an impact on the speed, accessibility, and SEO impact of D2C websites.

“Most of our clients are competing exclusively on the internet, meaning they need every advantage possible from a tech perspective,” said Miller. “Their sites need to be completely free of bugs, inefficiencies, and have all the right features for top placement in search.”

Among GR0’s optimization services include organic performance analysis, keyword mapping, meta tag creation, search volume analysis, and Google search console integration.

Desktop search is just one aspect of today’s search trends, meaning that GR0 also works to optimize client web pages for mobile search, voice search, local search, and more.

“These are non-intuitive things for small D2C brands getting started, so we’re happy to help them get a grip on those technical details,” said Miller. “Our team is tuned into all the latest best practices and requirements that these companies need to get an edge.”

What’s Next for D2C Marketing Online?

The era of D2C business has only just begun, and more companies are launching with this highly efficient, customer-centric model online. While they might have great ideas for products and some social media hype, Miller and his team are ready to help them get to the next level when they’re ready.

“So many new brands are emerging, but they don’t have that comprehensive strategy for organic SEO they need to thrive,” Miller said. “That’s the whole mission of GR0 and my personal philosophy on SEO – there is no substitute for putting in the groundwork.”

It will be exciting to watch the next generation of D2C commerce unfold, and Miller will be there to help brands level up along the way.

Have you ever wondered how a successful business is born? The backstories of those that are intelligent enough to run a company can be fascinating to uncover— even more so when a cofounder changed his path multiple times to find his passion.

GR0 cofounder Jon Zacharias never intended to go into digital marketing. In fact, he went to school to pursue law. At his part-time job, working for a friend of his father at a law firm, an interest in search engine optimization began to grow into a self-defined “obsession.” Eventually the gig led him to realize, “I was way more interested in getting the cases than litigating them.”

At the time, only law and medical professionals were fully utilizing the tool of SEO, a system that streamlines content to connect searches on platforms such as Google to specific data. The potential for businesses to profit off of SEO by using it to up their digital marketing game still seemed like a concept years away. However, Zacharias saw the importance of this process long before it became mainstream in the e-commerce industry.

In November of 2016, a struggle with addiction became too much to ignore, and Zacharias received treatment at CRI-Help, a residential drug rehabilitation center. Armed with a new sense of self and sobriety, he met his future GR0 partner, Kevin Miller, through the program. He states, “We immediately became best friends, talking every single second. I feel like my entire life shifted as soon as I met him.”

And he was right. Miller’s experience working at Google and position as head of growth at Opendoor allowed for the pair to bond over search analytics and marketing campaigns — something Zacharias had always seemingly done alone. He had been waiting to share his expansive findings with someone else.

“I spent the next seven, eight years, from 2011 to 2019 when we started the company perfecting the science behind SEO, and then once I had that perfected, I basically started applying tactics that had never been used in e-commerce,” he shares. “It was really like the second wave of SEO.”

By the time this new process had been shown to Miller, he was all in and suggested going a step further. Zacharias states, “He loved it so much that he was like, ‘let’s just start a business and do this for as many direct-to-consumer brands as we can, because it’s such a powerful channel.’” The duo laid their plans, and GR0 quickly came into being.

Two years after its inception, this startup has been propelled into success. “We are basically matching the hottest direct-to-consumer ecommerce brands, working with the biggest celebrities in the world, and creating real partnerships,” Zacharias states. GR0 has been able to work with Venus et fleur, Nugenix, and Funboy, among other reputable businesses.

Zacharias says, “We give these brands an opportunity to work with huge celebrities that they wouldn’t normally be able to work with because they couldn’t afford to put millions of dollars down up front.” With an inspired and inspiring CEO, GR0 is just beginning its climb upwards.

For many arts organizations, visual brand building is critical to gain a following and customer loyalty to help grow the business. Due to its audience accessibility and budget-friendly platform, Instagram advertising can be an ideal marketing option within the arts. It is common to see arts organizations on Instagram as the online social media site embraces and promotes the visual aspects of performances. Arts organizations can extend their Instagram account’s reach through Instagram advertising to attract new followers and patrons to exhibits and fresh art.

Felt and Fat CEO Nathaniel Mell is a big advocate of Instagram advertising and arts marketing. It has drastically helped him build his brand and attract loyal customers to his ceramic design and manufacturing studio. His arts company caters to both professionals and at-home chefs, which is why Instagram has been so beneficial for him to reach both types of audiences. Presently, Felt and Fat has worked with over 100 restaurants worldwide and produces more than 30,000 pieces every year. As a successful artist and entrepreneur, Mell shares why Instagram advertising and arts marketing are the perfect combination for any arts organization.

Create Ads with Ease

One of the significant benefits of Instagram advertising is that you can, as the saying goes, kill two birds with one stone. Instagram ads can be directly connected to a Facebook account. That way, when you create an ad on Instagram, you can also post on Facebook without the hassle of going back and forth between the two platforms or doing the action twice.

Continuously Build Opportunity

There are thousands of stories of businesses connecting with one another, paid partnerships sparking, and so many positive consequential circumstances blooming through an Instagram message. Any organization that displays its work on Instagram will ever-increase opportunity for its business as the social media platform grows, too. There are over 140 million users on Instagram in the United States alone, and that number continues to increase.

See Feedback on Ad Engagement

The beautiful thing about Instagram Ads is that it gives you the option through its Ads Manager to target the audience that the ad is intended for, so it is guaranteed to get in front of that specific user. Engagement is already higher on social media platforms over other advertisement options, so the change of a company’s ad being displayed for the right person or a future loyal customer is excellent.

More Than One Way To Display Art

For art organizations, Instagram is a highly versatile platform for different types of creative designs. Photo ads are the most standard ad form on Instagram and have the power to tell the story behind a brand through a simplified canvas display. Video ads can further engage audience members as they incorporate sound with sight and motion to additionally display a brand’s purpose. Carousel ads, slideshow ads, collection ads, as well as stories are great for showing off or teasing a new art exhibit or any collection line that a company is selling on its eCommerce website. These ads also come with the option for a “Learn More” button to directly take the user to an art exhibit event’s information or a “Shop Now” button to easily lead onlookers to any art for sale on an eCommerce platform.

About Nate Mell

Nate Mell is the founder and CEO of Felt+Fat, a ceramic design, and manufacturing studio based in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia. In 2013, Mell was asked to design a set of plates for what would become the award-winning restaurant ‘High Street on Market.’ Since then, the Felt and Fat studio and team have grown exponentially through Mell’s leadership to become a go-to manufacturer for design-conscious restaurateurs.
